Api is the main restaurant at SAii Phi Phi Island Village. It sits right on the sand of Loh Bagao Bay, open to the breeze, with 130 seats looking over the white beach.
The day starts with a breakfast of hot and cold dishes from around the world. Lunch and dinner bring Asian dishes and international plates. In the evening it is a popular spot for sunset drinks, live music and themed nights.
The name comes from Piapi, the old Malay name for the island, meaning Mangrove Island. Api is also the Malay word for the fireflies that gather in the mangroves.
