The resort
The Cove Phi Phi
The Cove Phi Phi is a small resort on Ranti Beach (Rantee Beach) on the east coast of Koh Phi Phi Don. It was formerly called Rantee Cliff Beach Resort.
The resort can only be reached by boat. Its own boat runs from Tonsai Pier in about 20 minutes, so the bay stays quiet and far from the Tonsai crowds.
Accommodation ranges from simple bamboo bungalows by the beach and in the garden to cliff bungalows and ocean villas above the bay. Interiors are wooden and set among tropical greenery, each with a private balcony.
A coral reef with fish lies about 150 metres off the beach, close enough to snorkel from the sand. Rantee Restaurant serves Thai food on the beach.
The resort has about 36 rooms. There is no pool, guests swim in the bay.

Location
On Ranti, Koh Phi Phi
Ranti Beach (Rantee Beach), east coast of Koh Phi Phi Don, Krabi. Address: 32/1 Moo 7, Ao Nang, Muang, Krabi 81210.
- Getting there
- Ferries run to Tonsai Pier from Phuket, Krabi and nearby islands.
- The resort can only be reached by boat. The resort boat from Tonsai Pier takes about 20 minutes and staff meet guests at the pier.
- Boats leave Tonsai Pier for the resort at 11:30 and 13:30, and leave the resort for Tonsai at 08:00 and 12:30.
- There are no transfers after 17:00. For other times contact the resort at least 24 hours ahead, extra charges may apply.
- Tell the resort your arrival time in advance. Schedules can change with the weather.
