Mr. Tomyam is the beachfront lunch spot of SAii Phi Phi Island Village on Loh Bagao Bay. It is small, with 22 seats, an open kitchen and an al fresco area facing the sea.
The idea is Thai food with a playful twist. The kitchen plays with the sour, sweet, salty, bitter and spicy notes of Thai cooking and mixes them with European favourites, so you will find a basil chicken pizza next to pineapple fried rice and crispy prawn rolls.
There is a full bar too, with fresh coconuts, fruit shakes and classic cocktails. It is a handy stop for a long, lazy lunch between swims.
